For the past couple of days I have been without internet access and I thought it would be awful but it meant more time for embroidery.

This weeks stitch is COUCHING:-

It is the perfect stitch for adding texture to your embroidery with different threads, fibres or wire.  You can also outline curvy shapes easier.  You just lay down your thread or fibre and stitch over it to hold it in place.  Here is my example this week:

  1. Lovely textures. Couching is an ideal technique for using with surfaces made with the embellisher too. Love the central button.
